Day Two Report
Another strong day at Chapel Hill for Green Hope. We had several more state-qualifying performances and indoor school records. Four of our guys also had 5th place finishes in this competitive meet.
Scott Hefner (1000m), Zak Roshdy (1600m) and Josh Brunelle (Pole Vault) all set new indoor school records and took 5th place in their respective events. Scott qualified for states with his performance, while Zak and Josh improved upon previous state-qualifying marks.
Patrick Moakley took 5th place in the 500m and improved upon his time.
Olivia Enright and Sarah Wilt ran qualifying times in the 1000m, with both girls breaking the previous indoor school record.
Finally, the girls' 4x400 relay team of Jessica Brunelle, Cara Enright, Moni Oyedepo and Ashley Shaffer qualified for states.
This was, by far, the top performance we've had at this meet as a team, and really illustrates the amount of hard work everyone is putting into this season. Next up is the indoor state meet on February 9th, back again at Chapel Hill.
